It was a cracked top / oring and something else that fits on top of the gas tank.. No idea how it broke .. Pretty sure it wasn't my fault though . They had to drop the gas tank that's why it was so expensive , the part was only like 150$.
So I just had to replace a cracked cap on top of my gas tank that was leaking fuel. Paid around 500$.. Hope this isn't the start of the beginning of repairs for my 2010:/
Ok guys after a few months of research and tons of help from you guys I am finally going to test drive and hopefully pick up the LR4 i have been looking at. It is a 2010 base model. Just had a few questions about what I should check for that may need replacing. I thought i read that the control...
So after tons of help from everyone I have one last question as I try to pick out my new land rover. I was wondering what you guys would go with if if you had the choice between these to Lrs same milage lr4 costing a few grand more. Is there any upgraded mods that where done? I'm looking for the...
Thanks for the help! Now since I'm looking at buying new or newer do you know of any problems with the 2010 lr4s that would have to be fixed. I havnt found much info like I have the lr3s. There is just to many options ha.
I'm looking at the new 4runners the trds and the regular and I like that option Bc it think I may be able to get 0% interest and not have to pay cash, and I feel like it would be a lot more reliable I'm just not sure yet. It's between those two now instead of the tahoe since it's not the best...
Thanks for all the help guys I'm definitely looking at buying the lr3 now just am having a second thought with the cost of repairs and such after 80k-90k miles.
I'm looking at buying an 08 with 80k miles and was wondering if you guys think it's smart to go ahead and try to find some extra warranty that covers so many miles. I am researching the problems that may happen and the list looks pretty expensive. I was reading through another forum and saw one...
I thought I would put it in this thread since I like the lr3s better but I am thinking it would be smarter to go with a new tahoe. I'm looking for something to travel around the west coast/camping and doing some climbing. I want something I can sleep in the back of and they both have really good...
Wow thanks for the time to respond to my questions , it means a lot! I am looking at one that's a private seller so I'm guessing I need to just try to get underneath and look at as much as possible if I'm able to . They told me only the front brakes have been replaced and it's got 80k , do you...
