This. In my mind this is the ideal set up. It's what I rock. Can't think of a better way of going about setting up a truck canopy. You get a sweet shelf to cook on. Can keep your gear inside the truck cap with you, dry and secure. Preserves head room. Can sit up (and use shelf as desk)...
