I am glad I got out when I did, this price increase is outrageous. I would rather get Arkto trailer for less if I were in market for a hybrid/popup camper.

Looks nice, esp like the 8k towing capability. Depending on the price and the reviews, will probably upgrade to GX550 in couple years or so from current 4runner.

My requirements are similar(minus the kids part). One thing I've given a lot of thought and might work well for you is pairing up boreas chassis with a nice popup camper like overland explorer backcountry or even hallmark/outfitter 8 footer. Curious why this trailer has the old style side doors, from looking at specs and other listings, 2021 is when boreas changed the doors to new tern overland version.

I put down deposit a year ago, back then it was 16-18 months wait. Now it looks like another year at the least. I will probably get my deposit back soon as I find sth in the intermediate, but so far haven't found anything out in the market either.
