    trooper trail shots

I plan on sas'ing my trooper with 2in of suspension lift and mostly stock replacement parts except for the johnny joints on the frame end of the radius arms. Radius arms make it pretty simple to keep it low. Big lift SAS's happen when people make leaf spring mounts with 2in pieces of tube for...

    trooper trail shots

Yeah and the reason is that the CUSTOM long arm IFS systems used in desert trucks soak up the terrain better at high speeds when the dips may not be even left to right. That being said there are ALOT of solid axle desert trucks. The truth of the matter is that a solid front axle rules the roost...

    Isuzu 3.2 vs 3.5

I dont want a DOHC motor. 15 hp is worth the loss in torque and movement of the power band. A 3.5 crank under neath the SOHC heads will play into the motors torque characteristic only making it better.

    Question for other Trooper owners...

Im assuming you mean volts not amps. Low voltage in a fuel injected vehicle causes all sorts of odd issues. 11-12 volts running is not enough. Every piece of code in that computer is written to reference 13.4-14.7 volts as the running power source. Take the alt off and get it tested.

    Isuzu 3.2 vs 3.5

I have a 94 w/a 3.2 SOHC and 187,000 on the clock. I bought it about a month and a half ago. I changed the oil when I got it and have noticed the thing is thirsty for a half a quart every 800miles or so. Honestly thats not terrible. It doesnt smoke and runs perfectly fine, has good power still...

F150 is new Ford Ranger ?

Well ranger did start its life as a package for F150s back in the 70's. It would be quite foolish of them to drop a mini truck from their line all together. And since when does toyota not have Tacomas anymore?

WOW! the FRP panels are much cheaper than I thought! $40 for a 4x8 panel .10 thick. Should be perfect for the outside waterproof layer and use some 3/4in ply for the inside.

Problem with my side boxes is that I bought cheap ones. 2/3 hinges have frozen on the pass side box and since they are such light material the door opens right up and removes the hinge connection.... If your interested in them we could work something out but the middle box is cut and fitted to...

Yeah 3.73s are more than enough with a manual. 456s or 488s are the typical with 35in tires with an auto. I'm thinking about using wood for the panels and getting some good boat type paint and laying it on really thick.
