Its been a few months since we posted this thread showing the NEW Ford Transit 3" lift spindles. With only one other post I am kinda surprised....? So my question to the community is are you choosing the AWD over the 2wd ? I have been running the 5" kit on 285x70x17 tires and LOVE the way it...
Let's have some fun and talk suspension,
I will do my best to explain the benefits in the lift kit by WTD. With most lift kits you are changing the angle of the suspension like the lower control arm. As this arm is pushed down with the lift on the Ford Transit it is making the "track width"...
I do not have any additional pics of these with rear seats, sorry, it seems like most of the ones we install they have removed all of the seating. Like anything made in the USA material is going up up and away and this base is actually made of 6061 aluminum to keep the weight down to only 31...
We did one of these but to was on the expensive side for just a few more inches of travel. If there was 5-10 people that wanted to commit to a kit like this we could see what kind of craziness we could design.
If you have a sliding door and running wide wheels or 35" tires on your Chevrolet Express van you may want to check out this new product! It was a must have for me on my new van build! The Door slide extension allowed me to open my door all the way which is important loading all my kids...
The 2wd Ford Transit is a pretty cool van even though it is a unibody! HEHE. To make sure we give it the same WeldTec Designs love that the Ford E-Series gets, we thought it needed more lift and bigger tires. Most van owners love running big tires and even for me a set of 265x70x17 just wasn't...
There have been a ton of questions asking if the 2wd Ford Transit lift kit will work on the AWD. Unfortunately that lower arm does not work but lucky for we made one that does fit the AWD vans giving it 2" of lift. The lower arm will keep the lower ball joint at a more neutral position at ride...
Lots of great questions here! We now have a AWD kit. It will cycle all of the shock downtravel without binding in the passenger side which is the short axle side. I have included a link to the product and if you have additional questions please let me know.
Thank you...
This build is far from over, however we did make it to the Las Vegas Sema show in November. Here is a video to what we have accomplished with a lot more to come !
I would love to hear what you like on this build and what you would like to see us do........
Well we decided that just one vehicle build for SEMA just isn't enough so we threw in a screwball with this addition. Check out the video and i would love to hear your thoughts on this addition......
Our thought is van is a great tow vehicle that will get you deep into the backcountry as your...
I think that would be great to have those like the PRO ACCESS chevrolet express vans have. I'm not sure if it would be easier to build them out of aluminum since my fiberglass skills are not so great......
Lots of crickets in this thread! Please let us know what you would like to see this build include. Here is the latest video from our youtube discussing many suggestions and options to choose from.
What do you want to see?
Jeremy

It is finally here folks, the all new Ford Transit 2" lift kit the "COASTAL CRUISER". There are so many things that the Transit needs so we figured we would start with the first thing, Stock is boring and bigger tires are a must. To fit bigger tires and improve articulation we designed a new...
