    Skool me on Skottles

So, did a bit more research and obviously it’s not exclusive to Cadac. You can get this awesome setup for around $160 though ... https://www.cadacinternational.com/products/camping-range/carri-chef-2/?variant=Carri%20Chef%202%20BBQ%20/%20Plancha Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Skool me on Skottles

Being from South Africa, I grew up with skottles 30 years ago. They are awesome for camping, ball games, tail gateing etc. We used them mostly for breakfast and what’s so good about them was the entire thing could pack up into a handy carry bag. The center gets nice and hot to fry stuff in...

ham licence for aprs? aprsdroid specifically... why?

    GMRS? Baofeng?

Baofeng are not type certified for GMRS, so you are breaking the law anyway if you use them on GMRS frequencies. Having a GMRS license does not get around this fact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ham licence for aprs? aprsdroid specifically... why?

It's about the frequency you transmit on, not the device you are using. If you don't know the difference, you need to do some more research. I can use EchoLink on my cell phone, but I'm using very different frequencies than what my cell operates on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Need a little antenna help. 2m/70cm

I used a vehicle specific mount for my 2016 F150. I can't do a roof mount as I carry too much stuff on my ladder rack. I don't see any for an xterra, but maybe one can be repurposed. I got mine from dx engineering. Linky below. I am using the tram 1180 dual band 5/8 antenna. Can't comment on...
