Small things:
Bed is here yay. Needs some love has a little rust and dents but for $315 not to bad.
Started working on my dog box. What what I can tell if you had a 92-96 van the Auto to man swap would be easier. The dog box is way better for it. I have a 96 parts van so I cut a couple things...
Hahah no man you are good. Yes they are pedals out fo a truck so they were way longer. We have all the Ratios figured out and fixed took a while but we did it.
I think it will actually be ok. Im going to let the motor sit in there for a bit then take a look at it. I am going to put the Ujoint front frame support in.
Slow and steady wins the race.............................. But Im dying over here having to work on real work$$$ and just see this thing sitting in my shop. But my bro Ron came into and killed it. Also not shown Got the fuel tank cleaned painted and install.
Little Progress: got the rust hole Patched and rear springs came in. And last but not least my 5spd yay.
Up next rear axle install run brake lines and fuel lines. start with the front Ujoint stuff.
So not a Vuck update but still joy. Finally finished studding and deleting mega bus (wife chose the name). Now to drive it make sure things are right then bulletproof His little brother Chester (one of my work vans just spacer lift and 33's). My neighbors think I am nuts hahahah and they haven't...
Minimal Progress: Frame is painted except for the welding up front. Also...........................
MY Fenders showed up. This is me just goofing off but I think this will look mean. #V4littlebro
Well...... I started painting, I brushed it on and holy ba-jesus this is going to take forever!!! put about an hour and half in and got all the easy stuff done hahah. I love the look it will dry flat black As you can see from the close up pic.
I'm sure the Ac drip didn't help but there was a plate there holding old wiring from its Ambo days. I got it primed today and the rest looks good. so yay I will cut it and patch it properly this week.
Trying to move along here: Got the frame back from Sand blasting ($318). Felt like it was totally worth the cash, since it would have taken me ten years to make it look this clean. Tomorrow on the schedule:
1. Fix the hole in it.
2. Prime the entire thing
3. Clean up underside of the body...
Just trying to keep this thing moving.
1. Fenders off ready for fiberglass one's
2. 8" cab back off ( need to clean up and prep for new 24"one)
3. Mirrors are off. Going to put tow mirrors on. I have them on my other two vans and I love the look.
4. clean shop hahah it was bad.
Next is clean...
