Megatron - New turnkey expedition vehicle from Supertramp, Elevation Off Grid (EOG) and Liquid Spring

I did see a used Hilt on RV Trader so they must have sold some of them. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2024-Storyteller+Overland-GXV+HILT-5033801781#sid=518510

Megatron - New turnkey expedition vehicle from Supertramp, Elevation Off Grid (EOG) and Liquid Spring

May depend on what you call deeply discounted I guess, but there are many with 20k to 50k miles from $350 and up on ER's website. A new one is about $800. There is a 2008 on RVT for $220 with 90k miles. https://earthroamer.com/pre-roamed/...

Megatron - New turnkey expedition vehicle from Supertramp, Elevation Off Grid (EOG) and Liquid Spring

I have seen most of the videos, but they all seem to be from the prototype unit that doesn't even have the passthrough to the cab. Was just wondering if they were really starting to produce them.

Megatron - New turnkey expedition vehicle from Supertramp, Elevation Off Grid (EOG) and Liquid Spring

It's been 6 months since anyone talked about how the development of these units is going. Has anyone been in contact with them to see whether they are getting into actual production? I haven't really seen any dealers that are showing the Storyteller Hilt either and there isn't much talk from...

2021 EarthCruiser Terranova; Idaho; Price Drop to $270K or Reasonable Offer

It's interesting that the EC website has made a return from the dead. Not sure what happened, but it looks like it did a year ago. https://earthcruiser.com/

    Winnebago EKKO

OK, here is a modified Ekko that looks interesting from Owl vans. They are talking about $237,000 or so I think. https://owlvans.com/products/owl-ekko-teton-edition?srsltid=AfmBOorq9fSc38Jx5Xbv5jXgQhjlzJaBywpbX76SQ_eWSbnNdHBPrxEx And this is a video explaining what they have done.

Earth Cruiser for Sale on BAT

Yes, and no reserve. Will be interesting to see where it settles out. They were asking almost $600k for new ones at the end. $90,000 currently.

    Mountain Bikes and Overlanding Rigs

I use one of the Lets Go Aero clam shells for road bikes, but they also make a box that will hold mountain bikes. They aren't cheap, but neither are my bikes and the old saying "out sight, out of mind" provides a little security. Most people think I have lawn chairs, etc. in the boxes...

Nomad Euphoria RV - Interesting option

I think all the new StoryTeller vans as well as the Hilt use the 48v system and I have seen a few others starting to use them. Like @driveby said, just inertia and familiarity with what they have used for the last 50 years. If you only need 200ah or so it probably still makes sense to stick with...

Nomad Euphoria RV - Interesting option

I like the power system they chose. The 370AH 48vdc is pretty beefy. It's equivalent to 1,480AH at 12v, but allows you to use cables that are 1/4 the size of the 12v systems.

Nomad Euphoria RV - Interesting option

Nobody seems to be interested in doing that. I would probably have bought an AEONrv if it was on the E-series.

Nomad Euphoria RV - Interesting option

Just saw this video today. At $200k this looks pretty good. I think this it the first unit. Is this Composite Structures walls, etc.? Their website: https://www.nomadrvs.com/the-euphoria

    EarthRoamer LTX - new layout

Wonder why they didn't just go to the 48v systems like StoryTeller Grit and StoryTeller vans use. Smaller cables and more efficient.

    EarthRoamer LTX - new layout

It actually looks like they copied the interior layouts of the Grit, Megadon, TruckHouse units with the dinette in the rear. Of course they dressed it up to still charge $900,000. They did add some passthrough storage in the rear which looks handy and kind of reminded me of the EarthCruiser...

    E350 Adventurer 19rd X Series???

OK, an early copy. ;) Quigley probably copied from the F350. We all stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. Since the mid 1960’s, Quigley has been refining its craft. First selling trucks and vans, then customizing them and beginning in 1974, building a new type of vehicle – the...

    E350 Adventurer 19rd X Series???

Looks like they basically copied the Quigley 4x4 conversion. I like the overall size, and the rear dinette is converted to a bed. Here is a link to the video.

Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

Or, many of these companies are moving to 48v systems which can use conductors 1/4 the size of 12v systems. StoryTeller is a good example, but several others are going that direction also.

Huge price increase for GAIA Maps!

Just got my notice in the email. Will probably just keep it, but maybe Harris or Trump can get a roll back to control inflation. The Fed wants to see 2% per year inflation and I could live with that.

    StoryTeller Discount on 2023 stock

Looks like they decided to continue the cash back program. Was scheduled to end on Sep. 25, 2024. How long is the rebate available? June 20, 2024 - January 1, 2025

Salvaged 2022 Rossmonster Baja Copart Denver

It would have been a big job to do on your own and Rossmonster surely would have charged you at least $100K to completely redo the interior and fix/update the electrical.
