No affiliation, just know Subs with manuals are hard to find. This one has a high roof conversion too which would be cool for expedition purposes.

I have a set of the sought after Toyota 4runner OEM 5 stars that came on the 3rd generation limited's and highlanders (sports too?).
They are in near perfect condition with few minor blemishes. I picked out the worst of the wheel and took a photo of the one blemish. Seriously, they look pretty...
I put mine under my dash so I didnt have to drill any unsightly holes. I made two tabs that drop down just below the glove box and attached the maglight clips. Still gives passengers feet room and is close at hand.
I think any 285/75 on a factory wheel will rub, regardless of tire. The wheel offset is the issue and the factory ones have too low of an offset. Wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels (or FJ80's, and I just happen to have a set :sombrero:) are the way to go.
No, just 4. The shop had a 5th one but it was pretty hammered. I offered to take it off their hands for free but said they would just scrap it and get $20 for it.
Not sure on the lug setup. It looks like the shank style as I assume the acorn ones would have some sort of taper?
Here is the listin on T4R.org:

Testing the waters on these. Picked them up for a good price and am not really sure I want to run them (may temp me to go to 285/75's) :naughty:
I would like to keep local but may consider shipping if the buyer wants to pay a little extra for the hassle.
2 wheels are in very good condition, 1...
It was a factory recall and they would replace regardless if you were having issues or not. I think the work included an upgraded headgasket, but I am not sure if that solved the issue. I think some have still blown gaskets regardless if they were replaced.
I guess I will be the first to ask, any info on the headgaskets? Were they done already, or ? If you dont know you can always run the vin through the dealer and they can usually tell you.
Nice looking runner. If it wasnt for the pasky 3.0, I would be more than happy with a 2nd gen.
Here is a custom soft top my buddy had made for his Suburban. I think it was around $500 and buttons on the sides and back and has a channel on the roof. Its pretty nice quality, not sure on what type of material it is. He had it made at a local upholstery shop.
When I replaced mine I checked with a few dealers (just happened to be at two different ones when I bought my truck) and both looked at me like I was from a different planet when I asked for a fuel filter. Neither carried them in stock and advised that the filters are a lifetime part and should...
Really? I've always thought it was the springs that rode stiff, not the shocks. I can feel it when I pull into my driveway, front is fairly smooth and the rear is jarring. I think the ride is pretty bad but just try and avoid potholes and basically just deal with it. I thought OME...
ARB looks good, who did you order it from?
The best price I have found so far is from 4WP for $728 OTD. I am looking for a used one, but they all seem to be on the east coast.
Looking for a 1st gen Tacoma ARB bumper for my 99' 4runner. I'm located in Portland, OR. Will travel some to pick up or pay shipping if not too unrealistic.
May consider other plate style bumpers (I know, there are not many other out there...)
Thanks!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Today would have been a nice day to have an actual pick up, but the runner worked. Took 7 interior door slabs to the recycling yard and had to cut them in half and throw them in the back.
I am sure I will probably throw some lift under there at some point, gives...
So I've been lurking on this site for many months after stumbling on it when doing research on my previous Nissan Frontier.
Well, long story short the 09' Frontier CC 4x4 was traded in and the equity I had in it = a paid off 99' 4runner SR5 4x4.
Details on the 4runner: 1999, 3.4, auto, 4x4...
