Here’s my simple fly rod carrier made for two rods up to 9’-6” long. It’s working for me but I will plan to hang in the top of the truck someday. I had this idea 30 years ago but finally made them.

It comes with three tops: the hard top with alpine windows and sliding side windows and back door and two soft tops with the full hoop set and rear swing away tail gate with Jerry cans on it.

Would it be possible to make a full length continuous roof for a Gladiator with a barn door or lift hatch. I think it would give the Gladiator a more Land Rover Defender 110 look and make it more usable for interior storage. I’d be interested it that.
