terra ops, are you planning to be in Virginia in October for Expo East? I'd like to see your camper up close. I have RAM 3500 cab chassis Id like to build something similar on using your techniques.
Great looking build! I have a 2015 RAM 3500 cab chassis I want to smooth out the suspension to carry a flatbed camper. How does the suspension ride? Did you consider the Kelderman air system for the front? How is the front system as you've installed it working out? Thanks.
Thanks much! I'm in Virginia and love to come down after the new year and see your rig up close and pick your brain on the whole build if you're up for a visit.
Thanks very much for the details. Maybe you could stay with the 2" thick foam and use the fiberglass angles that Bedford Reinforced sells. https://bedfordreinforced.com/products/proforms-structural-shapes/ I'm guessing you couldn't screw and tap a bolt hole into them like aluminum but maybe...
I'm reading and re-reading your thread and am very interested in your panel construction techniques and what you have discovered after putting them to use. I have a RAM 3500 single cab that I plan to build a removable camper for as you have. Please share you ideas about the Terra Ops Panel 2.0...
I've got a regular cab chassis cab 3500 that I plan on putting a DIY camper on the back., something on the order of the prototype JK camper that AEV built. I'm looking for wheel suggestions. The AEV wheels seem to have the greatest weight capacity at 4100 lbs of the store bought wheels I've...
I looks like the skins went on with no seams. Is that correct? You found skins large enough to cover without a seam? Project looks great! Have a 2015 RAM 3500 I want to do something similar to except make it a pop top.
did you convert to SRW from a dually? If so, did you just bolt on the same wheels at each corner? I follow @mountainguildoverland on Instagram but can't find a website in their information or even an address. Do you have any contact information for them? Where are they located?
thanks for the info. I'll keep carli and deaver in mind when the trucks gets bought. I'm leaning heavy towards a single cab chassis with the 143" WB and the 60" cab axle distance. Think that gives me a few more inches of bed space for getting the spare and a locker up behind the cab like you...
I follow you on Instagram so I've seen your rig. I'm thinking along the same lines as far as the same truck and light-weight pop-up camper, etc. Do you have a build thread on Expo- portal? Am looking for information on your suspension mods and the rational for buying what you bought. And is it...
