Update! I made a lot of progress on the front end! getting ready to install my crossover kit once it gets here! here is some pictures of the tear down! I'm glad I did it because one of my spindle bearings was toast!! I was probably missing 5-10 needle bearings so who knows where they are...

Sorry guys I know I haven't updated in a bit but the holidays threw a wrench in the schedule as usual. I did get to order my crossover steering kit which should really help with the steering situation as well as an all new HD tie rod and HD tie rod ends.... now just to wait on old UPS.

Looks like a good looking rig, I am also trying to sell my XJ for the same reasons and build my blazer for more room and for a better expedition vehicle versus a crawler. Good luck with the build!

It has a brand new Edlebrock 650 4 barrel Electric choke. I think the motor is just hungry and its push 35's with 6 inches of lift.a 6000 pound wind sail basically.

Not really much of an update, but I have been putting together a blazer budget. I got it from a Microsoft excel wedding budget template and just edited it all to meet my needs. Its pretty accurate and I usually highball figures. I would rather plan to spend more and it end up being cheaper...

Yeah man, I am going to lower the blazer to a modest 2-3 inches of lift. I feel like better springs with less arch will ride much better and should also let the axle droop more with a shackle flip. The shackle flip should put the springs pretty close to a zero arch spring.
