    Starting a camper shell project

Ok. So it looks like the weather is going to be great this weekend ( atleast warm enough to paint at 62). After that the clamps should be in early next week. So I should have a mounted and paint shell by the end of next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think that is what the plan will be. The black paint that is already on the shell only goes up so far and the roof is the original white. So I plan to tape off the top and leave it white. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Starting a camper shell project

Got the clamps on order for the shell. Thought I had some but no luck finding them. As soon as I get the clamps in it will be on and then all the other stuff can start for the inside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yep the door was a bit small. Also just never got around to painting the shell. The cool thing was that the whole back opened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Starting a camper shell project

I am going to mount it and start work on it before paint because the outside temp here is in the thirties. So we will get to painting in the spring or maybe a warm winter day if I got time. We just had a baby and of course that requires a lot of attention too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Starting a camper shell project

The truck is called race red. If I go the cheap route it will be black. Just not sure on what sheen. If race red, my buddy owns an auto body shop and would be the price of material and maybe a case of beer. But if going that route I would also get dents out and stuff. Most likely I will not...

    Starting a camper shell project

I don't think I said it but I am going to try to keep this as low budget as possible. So most likely it will not have any high end fancy stuff in it. Just saying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Starting a camper shell project

We will see about that. It will be painted but not sure how. My buddy owns a auto body shop so if I go with a matching color. That would be the route but as he told me red is the most expensive color to paint. So I kinda sucks the paint material is going to cost twice what I paid for the camper...

    Starting a camper shell project
