    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Getting some local trips knocked out with the Jeeps before it's snow wheeling season. Branham Lakes, Tobacco Roots, MT ...and back to mud season in the Taylor Fork area south of Big Sky, MT

I just put some MT Baja ATs on my F-350, very impressed with how quiet they are for such an aggressive tread.

Photos of mid-sized vehicles - Post Here

Exploring close to home over the weekend near Big Sky, MT before winter arrives. Bit of a mud trip with some spicy sections on Buckridge.

A simple privacy tent and basic portable toilet really up'd our 4x4 camping comfort without much weight/cost, especially in bad weather or in terrain that doesn't allow for pits. A tarp & poles with some SeaSucker style suction cups work great for an awning, not as fast as a dedicated, but...

Just added this to our Jeep fleet, a '24 F-350 FX4 with the 7.3. It's a WIP, learning the ins and outs of HD life on trails for now.

Anyone here trim off some of their bed slide themselves yet? I know some have had OVRLND do it, just wondering if there are any gotchas with removing and reattaching the front wood lip. I assume it is screwed on, but am not sure yet. We have about an extra 1 inch from our Exped Queen. Not much...

Older Rig with upgrades vs Newer Truck near stock?

Across my Jeeps, Toyotas and Fords I've never had a suspension kit that made my highway or off-road driving worse or less reliable from OEM. I live in the Rockies in a rural state with high speed limits and a small budget for road repairs so cornering, pothole handling and corrugation compliance...

    Sold.....Sold..... Sold

Very nice and complete build! How were the JKS disconnects added to the front swaybar? Was it a specific aftermarket swaybar or was there some fabrication involved? Thx, GLWS!

Oh, the plywood underneath is a great idea, I strap everything to side rails/molle but it's not always ideal. Would like some L-track along the floor at times.

I can speak to a couple of these. 1) I think I only have the +2" (10" total) for cabover height and really love it. I haven't lived with the 8", but camp with many GFC folks and they constantly shuffle their bedding into their truck bed while traveling and have issues keeping it clean during the...

    Truck camper winch advice

From frequent recreational use, in my experience, don't obsess too much on winch brands. In my 4x4 group we don't see many winch failures, and when they do the Warns, Superwinch, and Milemarkers fail as much as the Smittybilts or Badlands. All winches are pretty basic internally, it's usually...

EDC: The real world Everyday Carry

1 of several Kershaw/Gerber/etc folding blades that I've found over the years on trails is always on my person. I've given back a few to the trail/camping gods as well. WFR training is what I've most used in emergencies though throughout the years. Highly recommend at least 1st aid, but a...

Before customizing my rear springs for the camper which would probably give me a ridiculous rake sans camper, I looked at these bracketless jacks as a possible option for removal. The clamps are super easy to take on and off, but I've only done that for installing a bedrug, I haven't removed the...

Why don't we see more Ford Ranger builds

This is also certainly true, even though I really appreciate the amount of swappable parts on my Gladiator with the Wrangler, they did compromise a some on cooling through the grill for the truck. They increased the JL's grill from the JK with the Gladiator/JT in mind, but I'm sure they would've...

Why don't we see more Ford Ranger builds

This is certainly a benefit owning a Gladiator, takes a lot of parts from the JL Wrangler, pretty much anything from the rear doors forward. Gave me confidence buying a 1st model vehicle, in case Stellantis cancelled the truck. Aftermarket support for my low volume Gladiator is significantly...
