Dual BAT System With Braille Batteries?

No :) .....the B3121 is the 21 pound lightweight I was talking about. It goes for around $180. You were probably looking at some of their lithium batteries. They have some models under their "critical systems" area that go for up to $3k.

Dual BAT System With Braille Batteries?

I did a search for these batteries and came up with a big goose egg. I read on another forum where someone installed their dual battery system using Braille batteries http://www.braillebattery.com/. They make lightweight AGM racing batteries and you can fit two of them in the same footprint as...

picked up some NOS Military aluminum storage boxes

I picked up one of these unused from a local surplus shop I think for $40-$45 at least 4 or 5 years ago. Thing is definitely tough. At the gun show this weekend and there was a guy selling several different sized ammo cans and he had two of these that he was asking $150 for each. He must be...

A new era. From P&S to SLR.

Does your comment on using F8 apply to most lenses or are you referring to the one that comes with the camera? I'll have to try that stopping down trick on my 30d ;)

    Reducing Picture Size

I use Photoshop for all my picture editing and resizing. I usually resize them so that the widest dimension, whether it be height or width, is at 1024 px. Seems to be a nice size for both load times and monitor sizes.

National Geo - World in Focus contest link

Hmmmm, interesting. Says they only received 15,000 entries last year. So let's say they get 20-25,000 entries this year...that's pretty good odds I say. A 1 in 2800 chance to go home with at least a merit award. Don't know if I am talented enough to take on even some guys from this forum...

Canon DSLRs: on the edge of reason

After just doing all this research myself...I can say that a couple differences are: -The XTi has a plastic casing, where the 30d has a magnesium casing (as long as you buy the USA version and not the "PC body" version), so you gain a more durable casing IMO. -The body of the XTi is also smaller...

    XJ/MJ Concerns

How much lift are you running...5", 6"? One thing (which seems evident that you already know), that stock Y steering is weak. An easy fab up for steering is to use some .250 wall 1.5" DOM and build a wheel to wheel tie rod using some 3/4 ton GM TRE's. Then using the same material you could...

Now see...shame shame :violent-smiley-031: That should have been one of the first things you did to that axle when you lifted it....that needs a plate on the front side as a gusset. I am in Apache Junction, AZ...........bring it over...we'll get 'er fixed up :REExeSquatsHL1:
