I use Photoshop for all my picture editing and resizing. I usually resize them so that the widest dimension, whether it be height or width, is at 1024 px. Seems to be a nice size for both load times and monitor sizes.

Don't know if you've noticed yet in some of my pics...but I tend to like the desaturated look. :)

Hmmmm, interesting. Says they only received 15,000 entries last year. So let's say they get 20-25,000 entries this year...that's pretty good odds I say. A 1 in 2800 chance to go home with at least a merit award. Don't know if I am talented enough to take on even some guys from this forum...

After just doing all this research myself...I can say that a couple differences are: -The XTi has a plastic casing, where the 30d has a magnesium casing (as long as you buy the USA version and not the "PC body" version), so you gain a more durable casing IMO. -The body of the XTi is also smaller...
