I am definitely adding the track to mine to keep the annex attached for travel.
Have you considered a hitch carrier for extra space? I like them over putting stuff on the roof for aerodynamics and center of gravity. Down side is security, rear overhang and access to rear of the vehicle. Plus you don't have much room up top left with a rtt up there.

In the past I did a size comparison between an ARB and a YETI. Assuming you use a block of ice, the ARB has a negligible difference in overall volume to interior volume. The weight is definitely a disadvantage, but I only run one battery since we typically drive everyday.

I have the rear power outlet and it wasn't enough to keep my Waeco running. I also added a separate power connection that is fused right to the battery so it is on all the time.
