Small mod I did recently - added a pair of folding stabilizing jacks:
With 33" tires it would require a piece of 4x4 or 2x4 to have jack reach the ground, but still more convenient than carrying pair of Curt jacks in the trailer and attaching them every time
Totally doable with the trailer. We made it solo with my wife and 3 yo daughter who loves jeep adventures :)
There are some switchbacks during the initial ascend. Few narrowish spots, but nothing too crazy, certainly not a roll over risk. After that it is mostly moderate trail with two shallow...
Just finished a family trip to the Eastern Sierra:
Trailer performed great and followed my jeep just fine both on and off road .
So far the only addition I made is a HighLift jack mount. Also thinking of adding some tiedowns to the lid, so I can carry some flat stuff like folded kitchen...
I do.
My JK's brakes are barely enough to stop jeep alone, so adding a brake controller for a trailer was a no-brainer.
I use Redarc brake controller, works fine:
Night temp was in low-30's - high-20's when we camped in DV and it worked fine with our down sleeping bags zipped together + additional down blanket. Our 2.5 yo daughter slept in the middle and stayed nice and warm all night long.
We also used MrBuddy propane heater to warm up the tent before...
Good down sleeping bags worked just fine for our family of 3 (including 2.5 yo daughter) during our winter Death Valley trip with night temps in mid-20's. Additionally, we used MrBuddy heater to warm up the tent before going to bed and in the morning to dry out the condensation.
Finally had a decent camping trip with my trailer. ~1000 miles total, with some trails in Death Valley:
Trailer performed exceptionally well. It stays rock solid after days of driving on brutal DV washboards, nothing got loose or misaligned.
I'm still figuring out the best way of...
Got my trailer today and man, this thing rocks!
The quality and the craftsmanship is absolutely top notch, well worth the wait!
Here're few snapshots:
I went without nose box option (not planning any battery setup for my rig), got a flat platform on the tongue instead.

I'm debating the same question.
I'm leaning towards going with the matching rims (already have those) and slightly smaller and less aggressive tires on the trailer.
I have a 34" Ridge Grappler on my Jeep, probably will do 33" Terra Grapplers on the trailer since they're way cheaper, much lighter...
I this case it looks like they're producing them under 'Manley ORV' name and using the old logo.
I've heard they even show these trailers on various Expos across US, that's why I'm wondering if anyone actually seen them in person.
