After waiting too long for an AEV rear bumper, I Just added an Expedition One rear bumper to my Ram 2500 with Callen Camper. This thing is stout! I love my AEV front setup, but I'm glad I bought this thing!

After much debating on how I wanted to build it out and using it as an empty shell; I'm finally starting to built out my Callen Camper. Still planning on what else is going to be added. I'm thinking of making cabinets for above the side windows, a couple bars on the ceiling for fishing rods/...

Yes, Scott is helping and the frame is being built by the same welder they used when they were officially in business. I rarely see their ads on craigslist this year. Still trying to get a break from work to start using mine more!

It is insulated. I believe its just fiberglass insulation between the exterior aluminum and interior wood paneling. I had mine set up pretty standard; only a couple inches taller and a couple inches longer on the cabover. The roof rack was extra too. I also had them install a fantastic fan...

Just spoke with Callen yesterday. 3-4 week timeline for my camper. He was in Colorado for a month; which he had told me about when I ordered my shell. He's retired but is making shells on a limited basis as he feels like it or wants the extra money. He should be in town now for a call. [08/20/17]

No update yet. I was given a 12 week timeframe on my shell when I went down there. I will be giving them a call this week or early next week and will update with any new info as I get it.

New to the forum. I thought I'd share what info I have here. I just went down, placed and order, and put a deposit down for a new Callen Camper. When I went there he had one about to be picked up for a Toyota Tundra. It was exactly what I was looking for, for my truck. Hopefully all goes...
