Has anyone ever had much luck with switching out bucket seats for a bench in the 00-06 years? I was told by a GM mechanic that the bolt pattern is the same and it should work, but I personally and mechanically impaired.

Thanks y'all. I forgot to add that I upgraded to Bilstein 5100s all around. The stance is perfect for me for now. I have 3 boys (5, 3, and 1) so I don't need anything too hard to get into.

Got this done yesterday on a Suburban I've had nearly 4 years. It's an 04 2500 6.0 with right around 160k miles. It has Cognito torsion keys and ProComp 1" blocks in the rear on 285/75/16 BFG KO2's. I'm really please with how it turned out. Not sure what my future plans are for it. Maybe a brush...
