Bought this a week ago, 2007 Furd E150 4.6L auto with 99,XXX miles in great running condition. Has some body issues that need to be repaired. After that, I'm going to start building it into a minimalist camper van. i want to be able to remove the camping interior so I can work out of it and haul...
Got the latch open by grabbing what was left of the cable end, and jimmying it until it caught the latch inside and popped it open. I ordered all new parts to make repairs to the broken door and to prevent the others from breaking. The plastic furls on the ends of the cables are what break and...
I kept working at it until I got the piece of cable to engage the latch and pop it open. I used a small pair of vice grips to pull the cable.
I talked to another body shop that said to grind those three round things that look like rivets. They said the metal plate should come off, and the latch...
I got the Geotab system removed, along with a idle time limiting device, and a back up camera mirror. Someone did some hokey stuff to make the Geotab link through the idle time limiting device to shut down the van in case of theft. They did the worse thing and tapped into the ECM diode in the...
2007 E150, my rear door latch is jammed. I recently bought this van with this condition. Whoever tried to make repairs was less than clueless. They pulled both of the cables out of place and jammed the balls on the ends into the latch. I have worked for over a week almost ever day trying to...
I bought an '07 E150 and kind of want to use it as a dual purpose work camping rig. First, I have to remove this Geotab crap. It's causing the van to not start. It's the older system that is butchered into the factory wiring, not the newer plug n play system. I'm looking for front fenders and a...
They're impossible to find. I have a '01 and never seen one except going down the road on a truck. The truck places want $1500 to $5000 for them. The cheapest one I found was one of those aluminum units that looks like an old travel trailer from the '60s. It was $1500.
I had a hard time going from a redline of 13,000rpm to the 9500rpm that my CB500X has. When I test rode the NC700, I couldn't stay off the rev limiter. I'm not even a speed junky. I just like to get through the curves around the mountains. Damn those things really slow ya down.
You can get a browser add-on for firefox and chrome that fixes the picture problem.
Here is the place to get it for firefox 60+. I don't use chrome or any other browser on my computer.

The single rear door would be a utility cap and not a popular option for most people. Here is one very similar to the one that was on an 80's ford long bed F250 that I drove for work many years ago.
Has anyone seen any caps, campers, or topers for the new Colorado/Canyon? I like the solid side high top utility caps with the one man door in the center rear.
Rats. I could do it in an '87 long bed ranger I used to drive on a farm where I worked. It was a selling point for the Rangers when they first came on the scene.
Flexible sanding boards come in all kinds of lengths. They are common in boat building. Use light pressure on the ends where your hands are or it will cut deep into the area you're sanding...
Well, another option I have seen is that chrome door edge trim use on door panels and trim pieces to help stop squeaks. I don't know how well it works but it looks kind of ghetto fabulous. It doesn't work on all panels.
