Yeah... would love to figure out a way to simply swap the existing 12v plugs over to an auxiliary but it might just be easier to fish new ones to the back from a 2nd battery.

smart isolator or dumb isn't really my hangup... i'd like to leverage the always "hot" 12v plugs throughout the Suburban without draining the starter battery and was originally thinking installing a deep cycle in the empty battery tray in the suburban with an isolator would let me do just this...

That price range is typical I think. I have 3 of these (might be the 413's though) and I've started using propane with them and they work great. Hate the newer ones that you can't store the propane bottle in but you can store it in these nicely, just like the original fuel container.

You run your fridge for up to 4 days off your Jeep's starter battery?

I'm sure there's a variety of factors that can change this answer... but if you were to put a decent deep cycle in, how long would one of these stay running before you needed to charge the deep cycle back up? Thinking about going this route in my Suburban but won't have solar to keep the deep...
