Description: I'm selling my original sPod Bantam Power Distribution System. This is used and in good shape. It came out of my Tundra and can fit any vehicle needs. Included is the sPod main switching unit and the DC power cables. Not included is the touch screen or...
Ah very cool. Thanks for the kind words I've been slowly exploring what I can between training. I've only been to Valdez once but found it to be incredible! Hopefully we can cross paths sometime.
Ah didn't think about putting the Sequoia sway bar on a Tundra. I've had mine off so long I...
Yeah it's hard. There have been times it's saved me. Where I had no bars but when I turned it on I had 2 bars LTE. Then there are times where you have at least one bar but it doesn't do much. I really think they should sell it for $299 and I think it would be a great deal. $500 for something...
I know I need to get around to posting more about the drawers! They are just homemade plywood drawers with one side being a large utility drawer and the other a kitchen setup.
Yeah thankfully when I passed into Alaska in early July the test was free and once you get the phone call you can go...
Yes in fact after your comment I found this photo below. Amazing how fast the glaciers are receding.
Thank you! Yes the Tundra with the 4.7 is quite the reliable platform. I even have way too much weight in the truck and it keeps on going.
You bet!
I'm in love with Western Canada. Can't wait...
Hiked my first real glacier here in Alaska. Had the whole Gulkana Glacier to myself which was really amazing. After the hike I drove a bit north and found a backway to about the same icefield and was able to get my Tundra up to 5000ft . The trail was incredible and a little challenging at times...
Oh yeah reading about "the slash" is super interesting.
"The United States–Canada border is the longest in the world. It stretches 5,525 miles from Maine to Alaska, traversing land, sea, and untouched wilderness. As such, you might assume this colossal border would be left untouched by...
I actually crossed at the Aldergrove crossing thinking it would be less busy. I then accidentially drove along the border along 0 ave and that's where I saw the people hanging out along the border. Amazing to see. I felt like I was witnessing history as well. Look forward to your post.
I just finished driving from Southern California to Alaska and wrote a blog post about it. 3322 miles in just 4 days. Wish I could have seen Canada a lot slower but Canada and myself were taking the Covid-19 thing pretty seriously.
Feel free to check out my full write up on my website here...
Yeah so far I almost exclusivly run my 5kw heater at 1.6hz or lower and haven't had an issues yet. I do occasionally run it full blast for about 5 mins thinking that might be helping but hard to say without pulling it apart I guess.
Ah ok thanks for straightening me out on that. Unfortunately things like the smart beaconing and wifi connectivity are not working correctly on the Tracker4 and have been verified by a few people on their forum. The Mobilinkd seemed pretty popular on the internet but I don't like how it isn't...
