Lets see some full size pictures...

Out of my last 6 new Fords 5 have been diesel Super Dutys. Thought I’d try a new Powerboost as thought I could get along with the better riding F150 and I no longer pull heavy trailers. There was nothing not to like about it except the fact that I just prefer the 6.7L Diesel engines. Once you’ve...

    Tire Air Compressor?????

My Vair gets the job done....just slower than I’d like and can’t run a 1/2” impact.

    Tire Air Compressor?????

Since we’re on the topic.....what’s a good compact 110volt compressor with tank? I’m thinking a 3gal or so tank? I could also run my 1/2” impact ...maybe? I have a 21 F150 with the 7200 watt Propower generator built in. I’ve been using a Vair 450p for several years, and it’s fine, but since I...

What will happen sooner... a Ford Gas vs Diesel dilema

I went 6.7. I’m so use to 900 plus ft lbs of torque that I could never go back to a gas 3/4 ton. Mileage is quite good also for a heavy pickup.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

The offset on the factory wheel is +44. I’m using factory Gen 2 Raptor wheels 17x8.5 +34 offset(beadlock type) on my 21 Powerboost as they fit perfectly. I’ve used 17” wheels on all of my off-road trucks for years.....I like the extra sidewall and there are lots of off-road tire options. Be...

    Tire load range and pressures

Thanks Roy, but I’ve never seen that size. It does sound interesting though. I see Kendra makes one?

    Tire load range and pressures

I’m have also considered the 255/80/17 Falkens. They are a tad taller and a tad narrower than the 275/70s. They will still fit a 8.5” wide wheel just fine. They may not look as good on my F150 as the wider 275/17s but I’m not really building this truck for looks and I like “tall skinnys”. I’ve...

    Tire load range and pressures

I'm thinking the 285/70/17 sound pretty much like a good fit for me. I have some Raptor wheels(17X8.5) that I'm considering using, so this size tires would be just about perfect. A lot of guys rave about the Falken Wildpeak A/Ts so I may try them. Our first trip of the year to Big Bend is...
