    Vanagons are sweet. even the 2wd are pretty capable with a lift and good tires. reliability is a little rough though, even the Subie conversions aren't overly reliable but better then stock. GFC or Vagabond truck shells are simple and can be outfitted with Webasto heater or something of that...
