I failed to get any good pictures doing any of the hard or technical parts of the trail, was a bit busy at the time. But we had fun and had some lunch at the mine and then did some hiking and exploring of the buildings.
Today we did the Nelson gold mine trail, it is the most technical trail we have done with the van so far. The jeeps we encountered were shocked to see us there..
4x4 is the only thing I would consider, for me I want the ability to get myself out of any situation I get myself into, but I tend to do dumb stuff. I have front and rear lockers and a winch for self rescue. May not be for everyone but I would rather be looking at it than looking for it.
We went to the Hauser geode beds today. It was a great place to take the kids found a lot of treasures for them to display and just had a great time out in Gods country.
The transmission is a 4r75e, had it beefed up with heavy duty parts and the torque converter turned out to be causing my problems, increased the stall and everything seemed to get better
