Just curious of how everyone feels bout soloing vs group expeditions. Is it suggested to travel the pan am or through the Americas with someone or is it better solo?

Are there any larger aftermarket fuel tanks available for first gens? Transfer Flow has an awesome 46 gal for second gen and up...anyone out there know of better options?
