Sorry to hear... I too had an experience with a driver without insurance. Never fun.
I did a quick search of Smittybilt and the part number and things came up:
ie:
Smittybilt 87400-47:

It looks like you had done a lot of work with it...
Sorry this happened. I looked into replacing the brakes years ago and I believe the breaks are Axletek standard 10x2.25” brake assembly. That’s where my amateur knowledge on the subject took me. Smittybilt wasn’t able to help with that.
I never replaced them so I don’t know if that’s the...
One of my ARK corner steadies failed recently, so I upgraded them to their new XO ones:

They're beefy. Here's the picture side to side with the 30" regular ones.
I got the 33", fully contracted they almost...
I love that box at the front. Do you have more details?
I put the Lock 'n Roll. I believe both are made in USA, can't go wrong with either. Most people in this thread use Max Coupler but I think the Lock 'n Roll is great as well. They have great customer support.
I'm considering replacing the battery in the breakaway system for a 100 amp lithium battery that would go in the tongue box and would also serve as battery for camp lights, etc. If I match the current connections, will the battery get charged from the 7 pin wire and will the breakaway system...
A few of us have moved the logo bar to the inside. Some have completely removed it.
I used a Smittybilt JK Defender Rack and it fits perfectly. I have pics in this forum. Attaching it was tricky but I didn’t have to make holes into the box.
Also I highly recommend this rear tire carrier...
You have to drill the holes in the trailer, it’s very easy. I’m sure Robert will reply or call him. He was really responsive and helpful when working on mine.
if you go a few pages back in the forum you’ll find lots of pictures of how it installs.
The tent, if placed evenly on the two posts, I don't think should affect much the TW because the weight falls on the center of the wheels. Maybe it will affect a tiny bit because a bit more volume of the tent ( = weight) will be on the front side, but I really don't think it should affect much.
Mmhh I don't know how accurate that TW is, I believe it's north of 300. But maybe they fixed it in the Gen 2. One of these days I'll weight mine now that I have the spare tire at the back, I'm curious.
