Supertramp LT or OEV The Back Country 6.85?

I understand the efficiency thing for sure!!! I recently added airbags to my rig and can now level at any camp (within reason) in seconds. Between that and the pop up roof I can be set up at camp in under a minute. Total game changer.

Supertramp LT or OEV The Back Country 6.85?

Perhaps being Canadian that may make a difference in which one is a better deal? Maple bucks are pretty weak right now compared to the US dollar. OEV being a Canadian company might make a difference? FWIW my ST with AC, 400aH of batteries, Inverter, and tracks on the sides and interior was...

2024 F350 Supercab, OEV Hudson Bay 6.75, Aluma tray, Carli

I wish that someone was me…. And I LOVE my truck and camper but this thing is at another level.

Supertramp LT or OEV The Back Country 6.85?

I saw those options too, can I ask why you don’t like propane? I had a Planar heater in my AluCab Khaya and it kicked ass but the diesel would get old, it smelled, and honestly besides being an available at a pump it kind of sucked. Induction cooktop seems cool but I have a small countertop...

Supertramp LT or OEV The Back Country 6.85?

https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/2024-f350-supercab-oev-hudson-bay-6-75-aluma-tray-carli.248821/ If I were you I’d also strongly consider this truck that was just listed. This thing is PERFECT in my eyes. Be hard to build a better one and it’s ready to roll.

Supertramp LT or OEV The Back Country 6.85?

If you haven’t stopped by the Tremor forum come on over. Tons of information about Tremors with the campers your looking for. https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/truck-campers-only-w-an-overland-off-roading-theme.16428/ It’s a great forum in general.

Supertramp LT or OEV The Back Country 6.85?

So I went through that exact same debate 2 years ago. Literally looking at the exact same two campers (and I bought the same truck). I REALLY wanted the OEV because it was closer and I have a long history with the guys and OK4WD and Jim and Rin are two of the nicest guys you’d ever meet. What...

2024 F350 Supercab, OEV Hudson Bay 6.75, Aluma tray, Carli

Damn man. That truck is PERFECT in every way!!! Why would you ever sell that? I absolutely love everything about that build. I actually just cross posted it to the Tremor forum in the truck camper thread. I don’t know anyone in the market but that’ll make someone very happy. GLWS.

    The Dometic CFX3 Mega Thread

Same here. We have a PLB-40 that stopped charging via 12V and it was past the warranty period. Customer service was pretty awful and didn’t offer any help even though we were willing to buy a new one (product is no longer supported). As far as I’m concerned Dometic is an Instagram brand and...

Aviation sub-category? Bush flying, helicopters, etc?

I dream about having a Just Aircraft SuperSTOL. My front yard is 900ft long and smooth grass and I have a garage and pole barn that would hold a plane (folded wings) very easily. I can’t imagine how cool it would be to fly in and out of my front yard…. Alas it’s not in the budget. At least...

https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/the-ramper-2023-ram-2500-laramie-with-four-wheel-camper-project-m.247951/ This posting meets all your requirements except gas…. I’d argue this would be a hell of a truck compared to anything you’re looking at already built out suspension, bumpers...

ThAir Camper new drop stitch "hard" side full truck camper discussion thread.

Spoke to the owner the today and it looks like they launched an updated website and added a “slim” version (coming this summer) that will fit Tacomas, Canyons, Rangers and other midsized trucks. As a reformed Tacoma owner this was music to my ears, today’s half tons can handle some lighter...

ThAir Camper new drop stitch "hard" side full truck camper discussion thread.

Hahaha. Yeah there’s definitely no magic bullet that can do it all. I LOVE my Supertramp because it basically has 360 windows all around the top, but in all honestly we are outside the camper much more than inside and when we are inside going to bed we black it all out anyway. Just looked at...

    Cache Camper Fishhook

Exciting! Congratulations on your new camper! I will offer only one piece of advice if you will allow me. So I ordered an F350 Tremor and a Supertramp Flagship LT at the same time to go together. The way I spec’d my F350 was for maximum payload, ended up with 4214lbs of available legal...

First off a picture is worth 1000 words so... Now that people can picture what I'm talking about I will give my thoughts. First off another member posted a link to this company on a separate thread as a camper worth taking a look at. Since I'm a total nerd for new tech I immediately...

    Good time for used EarthRoamer

I have thought the same thing for years and yet here we are. I have largest portfolio I’ve ever had. I doubt the bubble will last, they never do, but we’re still charging forward. I guess the real problem we’ve seen with the over printing of money the past couple decades is the dollar has...

    Good time for used EarthRoamer

$500k does open up a lot of options in the new vehicle market. I know you mentioned pre Covid builds, and I get that rationale however I don’t know if it really matters. I have two 2023 Trucks right now and both are flawless, that in theory was built at the height of the wackiness. $500k...

Are there dealers with models actually on lot somewhere?

Well, I just met with the owner of ThAir Campers, he invited me to his home, treated me so very kindly and took more than an hour of his time showing me the prototype, as well as images and renderings of the finalized product. I will start a seperate thread on the subject so I don’t jam up the...
