Selling my 2021 Camp-M (AKA the Backcountry 5.85)
This camper is pretty much fully loaded and has been amazing. The only reason I'm selling is because I purchased a Sprinter. The camper has been slept in for less than 30 nights. I bought the camper brand new last year. It sat on a dealer's lot...
Selling to focus on buying a home. The truck is a dream and the camper weighs a little under 500 lbs so you cant even feel it when driving around. Please let me know if you have any questions. Below is everything that has been done to the truck. The price is $55k. Located in Montana. Reach out...
@Phreak480 is correct in the way you'll have to wire it. It will be bit of a wiring nightmare compared to the ones that have breakers built in. Just try and keep the wires zip tied and clamped to the board to keep things more organized.
My camper is powered by a second battery (BCDC Red Arc Off Grid Engineering Kit) in the engine bay that is grounded to the chassis. I have the pink wire connected to the bus bar on the panel which connects to the battery in the engine bay. All negatives have to be connected to the bus bar...
Before you go splicing into anything does you brake light on the camper work? If the light works then the ground for the camper is good and I'd just leave it as is no need to spice into anything.
The pink wire is a very small gauge wire and won't be able to support grounding for everything. I...
Yeah this wiring diagram is right. You can see the pink is the negative for all accessories. Then the solar has a separate positive and negative large gauge wire that isn't pictured. Also since you are running the stalk lights and usbs directly to the battery I would at least fuse them with a 15...
Cool that works on the breaker side of things. There should also be a purple wire wired to the brake light. The pink wire is probably wired to a chassis ground so the brake light on the camper will work. Does the brake light on the back of the camper work right now? If so I'd just leave the...
Hey! The electrical panel looks like it's wired correctly except the negative should be a pink wire. The small gauge black and blue wires are not used. Not sure what they go to. Now there is a 10 awg black wire that is a ground but it's for the solar. Still make sure to have that plugged in...
Thanks so much! Most Definitely. I'll let you know when I get the electrical panel wired up and then we can find a time to meet! Didn't know you were in Missoula!
I know many of you were worried about frozen latches on the side doors. So far the camper has had 3 nights of below 10 degree weather and the latches have worked as they should.
Also I know there was talk about lead times. Mule has a lead time of around 3 weeks for the 5 foot models and around...
Thanks so much!!
I did a 2" OME lift with heavy springs in the front and heavy leafs in the rear.
I'm running the General Grabber X3's sized at 285/70/R17
Picked up my canopy camper from Mule Expedition Outfitters in Oregon and all I have to say is wow. It completely exceeded my expectations. Once you get one you’re already thinking of the next thing your going to do to it. Whether that be adding a fireplace, goose gear cabinets, etc. If you have...
What you are saying is all right. Is there any way you can take a picture of the back of the board for me so I’m able to see the wiring? It’s hard to say without looking at it.
I haven’t gotten the blog post up yet but here are my measurements that I used for the board.
-For the two leads Coming from the 8 switch panel I used 10 gauge wire
-For the solar charge controller I used 10 gauge wire
-For the usbs and 12v outlet I wired them together with 14 gauge wire
-For...
