    Off road trailer cover options

I finished my trailer in time to get a few good camps in, but now I have it sitting outside in the harsh weather and wondering what folks do for covers. It seems like that would be super helpful to prolong the life even if it's just from UV alone. I have had a hell of a time finding any good...

How did you skin with Aluminum?

Yes, I've got PU and primer/sealant painted on. What I meant, and what I've seen some others do, is do you put silicone or something like that on to help stick the sheathing?

How did you skin with Aluminum?

Ya, I bent the 12 degree one last night. it was a challenge, but I got it pretty good. so two questions. 1. it's big enough that I need two separate pieces per side. would you use a piece of aluminum strap over where the two pieces butt together? 2. if you float, do you use a sealant still?

How did you skin with Aluminum?

It doesn't slope toward the cabin, but I can see how it looks like that. I'm hoping that with everything I'm putting on it, it'll hold out the water.

How did you skin with Aluminum?

Sooooo I went ahead and decided that I'd skin the plywood with Aluminum (.032). I was going to just spray it with Raptor liner, but I've seen enough people with issues that I'm going to use Aluminum first. My question is, what is the best method for attaching Aluminum sheeting? Industrial...

    Insulation question

I like the XPR, I've got 3 inches of steel, so I can put some thick stuff in there. Would you glue the insulation to the plywood above? Spraying the underside sounds like a nightmare, but I like the idea. I live in NM. Dry and high. Probably not going to be super cold camping, but I would...

    Insulation question

And then spray with Raptor Liner? Have you heard of folks sealing plywood, spraying with bed liner, then having it fail? I realize this is a little off topic, and I would still like to hear advice about insulating the floor

    Insulation question

"the mix' is thinned out Polyurethane. Got it from TNTTT. I was thinking of some thicker insulation dropped in between the steel frame and the plywood floor bolted to the frame. Maybe RFP on the bottom to protect the insulation? The reason I didn't want to stack insulation on top is so I...

    Insulation question

I'm thinning out Urethane and doing multiple coats prior to Raptor Liner. The research I've done has been on here and TNTTT. How would you do plywood?

    Insulation question

Here is my current stage. I'm going to start skinning with plywood (used "the mix") to help seal, then plan to Raptor Liner it. Here's my question: How do I insulate the floor prior to putting the plywood over it? I've searched the forums and cant find pictures of someone insulating the...
