For me - I may build a demountable habitat allowing a dual use vehicle (we have a farm and occasionally do some light construction too), international parts availablity - will eventually do the panamerican and could foresee shipping to Europe as well. Will likely end up a bit shorter overall...
Alright, it’s happened. I so love this rig, we’ve taken him to four countries counting the U.S. and he’s simply been a rockstar. Nonetheless I’d really like to do a cab over - Isuzu crew cab. Envisioning a dual cab with demountable 12-14’ habitat.
We’ve been flying so much for our journeys...
I’m curious who got this. Are you happy with it? I’m looking to build similar for our family is six. Currently in a c5500 expedition truck. Would be interested to hear more about experience with it.
Any updates on your build? Additional thoughts on your potential “kit”. I’ve been eyeing up Ridge Rock conversion on a crew cab NRR and now see EC is coming back for Core vehicles (though those are likely beyond my pain threshold). Currently in a C5500 crew 4x4 for a family of six.
Hi. We are just getting home from a 3 month Asia trip. We are considering listing it, Just too much air travel going on.
Feel free to email or text / call if you’d like to discuss.

Thanks. We are a family of six so it takes some serious tetris to fit us in. Currently in a 14’ habitat on a c5500 (@wehartstravel). May try to do another similar size habitat but with a RTT above the cab for a bit more space. I very much like the above cab bunk though.
oh on a prior question...
Great build and details / discussion. How was your experience with Roly? I stopped in while passing through Miami and rode in the orange one. That was a while back, thinking your rig may have been there. I also found another conversion company out in southern CA I've emailed but not heard...
Hi. My next build will be an Isuzu! Will be curious to see yours. Happy to show you the rig if you get towards STL (we are in Union). I can measure those seats.
In my c5500 build I deleted my rear glass and bonded in an aluminum panel. Then cut the crawl through as large as I could. To get around the seat back issue I sourced Ford super duty jump seats (which I installed 4 across), they fold individually and have built in should restraints.
I met with Rolly a while back and looked at that NRR he has. Good stuff. Seems he has wheel options for you. Curious how much travel you’ll have with your lift. We really want to go to a cab over crew (we are a fam of six plus dog) currently in a c5500 self built expedition truck...
