they are working on it. VW dropped some of their diesels, but they are preparing to come back with more powerful and more efficient versions that will pass the tests. They will still be of no use to people looking for a mid-sized diesel suv.

Why can't we get those? How come nobody but Jeep is offering a CRD? We need small efficient diesel power. The only small vehicles you can get them in are VW's and the Jeep Liberty. I think the government is afraid that we will all just get our fuel from McDonalds instead of buying their fancy...

Can a Subaru join in the fun?

My Legacy is a four-speed auto. The Outback has a 2.5" lift, I figured if I was going to rework the car I should go for the other 1.5" and sit a little higher than an Outback. The 4" lift does change the chasis or drive train geometry, so the only adversity I should face are: increased overall...

Can a Subaru join in the fun?

It won't fit much larger tires with the current ride height. It's currently set-up for strictly street use with 17" wheels and 205/40R17 rubber. My long trailer build

Custom built always beats out! Find a classy way to mount up and show off your two extra matching wheels. Your trailer will be extra slick because its the same make and similar year to your truck, not just something randomly hitched up to it.:Mechanic:

    Subaru Lifts

Considering Modifying my 'rig I currently have a '97 Subaru Legacy Wagon. I am considering mods that would take it in a moderately offroad direction. It has 160,000 on the clock and has served me almost flawlessly for 90,000. I got a great deal on it. I have done street type mods on it so far...
