One of the reasons, yes. But more so, I need some cash flow for my business: Terra Bikes — terrabikes.com
I'll be getting an F150 again. LOVE that truck, but for now, just need to get finances plumped back up.
Yes, crewmax shortbed. I have found with this setup that I can do practically any trail I could do in my 98 taco (minus the silly insanely tight trails).
As life would have it, family sizes increase, unforeseen expenses come up, businesses don't work out as planned, and thus, sometimes we have to sell some ******* to make due. And sometimes that means we have to sell our Overland Builds. I'm sad to be in this position, but I have had a touch of all...
My original lift / wheels setup hit me by about 2-3mpg. That was fox 2.5 + an OEM HD leaf in the rear. Tires were Toyo 275/70r18 wrapped around Fuel Shok +0 wheels. Pretty light wheel/tire combo (roughly 29+58lbs = 88lbs/wheel).
Add an Alu-Cab RTT and I lost another 3-4. Drove the Baja and...

But honestly, don't be too weary of forscan. You can save the "as...
The FX4 package is wildly underrated, especially with the 3.5 eb. 1st gear is insanely low and torque-y, especially in 4L. In my opinion the width is just right - a few added pin stripes over my Taco, but nothing major. And I haven't found the desire for much more power now I have the bigger...
Hey-hey...
It's been a while since I updated this thread, and I have some serious updates:
First thing: I'm still VERY happy I switched for a half-ton. Specifically the Ford. Forscan is amazing and I can tweak all the silly elecronic stuff I want (and even adjust my speedo for bigger tires)...
Just got lucky and Discount Tires found me a set of 285/75r17. I've been eyeing these tires for some time now (just been waiting til the end of summer to get them – but I now need an alignment and I ran over some rebar, which means I've got one odd sized tire now, which might be the reason the...
