I decided to not do the lock n roll for my Volvo. I was planning on using a ball mount to tow and be safe. But I have since gotten a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk so will be using a lock n roll after all.
Best of luck

I have a 2020 Woolly Bear arriving in a few weeks (fingers crossed). I was wondering if anybody has installed a brake controller for it? I know it comes with electric brakes but no brake controller.
Thanks for the reply.
I actually don’t think I need a lock n roll, at least not until I get a true off road tow vehicle. But the trailer I purchased comes with one.
My current tow vehicle probably is only good for forest roads and light off road.

It was the only one the dealership offered and I didn’t want to go aftermarket at the time.
Being my first hitch, I assumed the dealership one would work out and be of higher quality.

Also in the boat where a lot of the mainstream models out there don’t seem ideal for us. But we did find, after lots of research, lots of options from smaller shops.
I ended up ordering a Taxa Woolly Bear.
Someday when I get a larger tow vehicle we...
I rented a tear drop trailer this weekend, my first time hauling a trailer ever. It was a very light one. Tongue weight loaded with 300lbs of our gear was 140lbs so prob 1500lbs. It didn’t have brakes and I didn’t have any problems but I definitely could feel the weight of the trailer when...
Definitely it was a long decision process. I had originally started out wanting a Trailer but started looking for something smaller that will fit in my garage. Then I looked at almost all the popups out there and wanted a Somerset. Then I decided I want something smaller that I can get off road...
Hi guys, first post here.
I recently got a roof top tent and a bunch of gear. Fridge, battery, etc. we have been backpackers but now we have 2 young kids and I stumbled upon overlanding while shopping for a popup camper trailer.
it seems like overlanding would be a way for us to get out there...
