Prepping the truck for the next 6+ years of off-roading.
First step, removing the interior for a super deep clean, removal of unnecessary items (rear seat belts etc…), as well as getting the wiring laid out more cleanly. Got the interior removed minus the headliner (next weekend) and went ahead...
Few minorish updates. We ended up going back to a RTT as we camped and went out the least in years using the ground tent. I’d have preferred to have saved the weight but the pros of a good RTT were to worth it to us and our style of camping. Went with the new Alucab 3R and couldn’t be happier...
1) the 37s and 4.88 put it at about stock gearing. This is fine but you do feel a bit underpowered and need to watch trans temps. We’re about to install an even larger Derale 10000 cooler to get temps where I’d prefer them: 135-150 at all times.

Since we dispersed camp pretty much without exception the fridge has been #1 by far followed up with a proper aux power system.
Second would easily be the CDL switch and lockers.
Third fitting 35”+ tires and letting the truck do the work with...
There aren't a ton of us around and I have a bad habit of udating these kinds of things, but I figured I'd at least get the basics rounded out since we've had the truck 4 years now.
