I really don't know what to expect from a custom tune. I am pretty happy with the canned tune. It took a few days to get used to, but its worth it IMHO. I'm assuming a custom tune will find a little bit more power out of the mods I've done. I can't see it being that big of a difference though.

I have the smaller of the two. AFM, yes. Not sure about the throttle. Although it does seem more touchy now. Like the V8s of old.

I'm still playing with the canned tunes. Hoping to get some custom tunes soon.

Intake tube, Cat back. Running 87. It feels quicker, But it could honestly have been the torque management and shift points.

Got the Diablo in the mail. I love it. I can't believe GM sold a trans the way they did, if it can work like this. I'm not convinced the tune actually makes more power, it just feels that way because it's now shifting the way it should. Should be interesting to see what a custom tune can do...

You can pick which type of tune you want in the unit. I have no plans on running 91. I bought the smaller unit. I never understood offroad tires on 20" wheels, lol. Unless you're running 40" tires I guess

Well stay tuned! I ordered a diablew tuner the other day. Pretty excited. And I agree, Definitely seems to be setup for fuel economy ONLY.

Keep us posted on the tune! I am also looking at diablew and the blackbear. My Range AFM delete likes to turn off randomly, but its never thrown a code. I really want to see what eliminating the torque management and changing shift points will do for the truck. I know I'm late to the party, but...
