What about for alignment purposes, if I keep the stock UCAs (or whatever comes stock on the Armada)? Will there be issues for a shop to align the vehicle without having UCAs?

thanks. The difficulty is that there are so few ppl who have installed aftermarket shocks on their US Y62’s. Really, the only ones I know are you (King), Mar (Ironman) and primov8(Bilstein 6100 in the front). I do like the fact that the Kings come preassembled as coil overs. Makes it easier...

You think this setup is worth the increase in cost over an Ironman y62 setup? I would use moog springs in the rear regardless of setup.

No, they just said they do not currently have a suspension system that works with the Armada. Yet, they continue to list the system on their website as being for Armada/QX80. Honestly, the guy was pretty rude, wouldn’t answer my questions, and then ended the chat.

Did he say anything about replacing the self-leveling shocks in the rear with regular shocks/springs?

I just realized Armadas have self-leveling rear suspension. I'm now not sure I want to mess with changing those out. How would the ride be if I just changed out the front suspension, and left the rears OEM?

Anyone know how Old Man Emu shocks will feel in comparison to stock shocks? Are they firmer? The floaty ride in the Armada is awful.

I own a 2017 armada and agree the shocks suck. I plan to upgrade them and thinking of going with y62 king shock replacements. I haven’t heard of other front end issues though.
