I shelved the Jeep. Wife always wanted it when I was off in it, so it is just for her now. I felt gay in it anyway. I bought a Land Rover Disco. Much more room for all my stuff. I have the Tundra for towing and the Disco for the trails.

For the steel spring basic and S Cayenne models, I've found a 30mm/1.25" suspension lift from Germany for over 2,000 Euros. I talked to them to see if they could do taller, like 65-75mm, and they said no. So 1.25" is a start. Actually it would probably be pretty good with 33's since it would...

All those options will lift the Air Suspension models, however nothing prevents it from self lowering. Apparently it will still self adjust when it hits those set speeds.

#1 and #4 are being investigated as possible solutions for the Air Suspension models. A lowering link company said that locking the height in the opposite direction with their links is possible. I will be calling today to speak with a tech instead of a sales rep. I need some hard confirmation...

Is it possible to "lock" in place the ride height on the air suspension equipped models? Looking at 2004-2008 Turbos. I don't want it to lower it'self bc I plan to put 33" to 34" tires on it. If I could find an actual 2.5" to 3" suspension lift kit, then I would prefer the non air suspension...

Gear will be stored under the sleeping platform. Like I said, my platform will be much taller than the one in the pic. I won't have much gear anyway. I'm not going across Africa, just the Rocky Mtns.
