That's the 1. Great looking rig. Shame the pickups over here are really too small for a decent set up like that.
Happy travels

This looks like an amazing trip. Love the detail in the posts and the pictures are incredible.
Were you in Scotland a couple of weeks ago? I passed a Tacoma with a pop up camper in the City of Dundee and thought "don't see many of them about!".

We are heading to the Outer Hebridies this summer and plan on Orkney at some point next year. Im usually to busy enjoying myself to take pictures but im sure the better half will.
The box is purpose built and imported from South Africa aling with the tent. It is then mated to the Sankey trailer...
Well after a year of not doing much other than making wee changes here and there, mostly a drawer system and fitting a diesel heater and moving the awning on to the Range Rover we are ready for a shake down run. Heading off Friday for a night or 2. Wish me luck

Here a shot of mine. Its tucked away in the shed but today i fitted my spare wheel mount and wheel, and started on the tread plate step panels for the arches. Also got 2x 25l fuel cans mounted, 1 for diesel to run the heater and 1 for petrol for the tow vehicle(2005 Range Rover Sport SC)

I was a shogun man before too. Got my RRS and an iid tool a week later. Its great. So many things you can do with it. There are a couple of UK landrover forums about. Good chance there will be someone local to you that could do a wee bit of programming

I think the sensors are telling the car it is sitting too low. Would probably be easy to sort out with a decent diagnostic or GAP tool. Would let you read the heights at each corner and adjust until the car was happy again

What is the warning on the dash? Sounds like the sensors havnt been coded out and its got confused. You could try recalibrating them to make them think the new level is 'normal'.
Im in the UK too with a RRS and was considereing a coil swap

I've been looking in to linear actuators. I got the awning mounted today with what I had, it is about 6 inches too low so don't need much. I think I have a plan. I'll take some pictures over the next few days and update as I go. There has been a pretty constant supply of bits being delivered...
Hello there, thought it was about time I contributed something instead of stealing ideas.
I'm in Scotland, not much overland opportunity here but I loved the idea of an overland trailer. After messing about with an old chassis for a while and not getting anywhere I eventually found a converted...
