I just got a brand new 2011 KLR 650 and was had a question about transporting it. Has any one ever put one on a hitch mounted motorcycle carrier before. I know the KLR is a bit on the heavy side for this but I am planning a cross country trip and i want to take it along as a kind of escape pod...
I've got a 97 E-350 van with a Quigley conversion. I was pulling the tires of the rims and noticed that two of the rims were 7 1/5 inches wide and two were 8 1/2 inches wide. Does any body know if this is how it is supposed to be or did the guy that had it before me just throw on any old wheels...
