I have an 2018 GMC 1500, had the same issue. I installed Sumo Springs and this has helped, even when driving on pavement, especially in a turn there's less sway. Easy to install.
My 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 with Ovrlnd Camper is my daily driver. Even though I have Zero build-out in mine, the extra 400lbs +- makes a difference in the ride. I just added the rear Sumo Springs and these are great! No crazy swaying around corners, and an overall better ride. Best of all they are...
I bought it on amazon, guessing it's made in china, called Maxpeeding Rods. Here's a link at amazon
I go out next week for real world use, it puts out a lot of heat I'm sure I will be turning off often. There is no thermostat in this model.
Diesel Heater setup.
Here is my basic heater setup. I used Refectix, 2 sheets with a plastic cutting board sandwiched between to make it rigid. Then used velcro to fasten to the inside window frame. Super basic, fits my needs.
Looking for suggestion on how to carry my mountain bike. Right now if not packed with gear the bike goes inside the camper, but with gear the bike stays home. Looking for a single bike carrier that will not be too hard to remove and move out of way for opening camper. I don't ask for much :)

Just picked up my camper Tuesday 12th, spent 2 nights getting familiar with the camper. I absolutely love this thing! Couple questions for the group: Has anyone applied RV roof coating to the outside top of the roof for heat reduction? How about a futon for a mattress, any experience? I don't...

I have a Bluetti EB70 (700w), I tested it with my Setpower 45qt single zone fridge with water bottles in the fridge set to 34*. After 3 days the power cube still had 20* battery life and I ended the test. Plenty of power for my 1-2 night trips.
I have to agree with you. I have made my deposit and visited the shop in Flagstaff. Ryan really pushed the extra height and i didn't ask questions. What are the differences in the 2 versions?
