    Starlink or Other Recommendation?

We live in the Sierra foothills of CA where ISP and power outages are a way of life. We also have an overlanding van and travel to remote locations in the western US, the more remote the better. Currently have an ATT hot spot that serves as a backup for our home and overlanding connectivity...

re-charging a big power station while driving

I run a Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A (360W) non-isolated DC-DC charger and high output alternator in my van to feed smart Li's while driving. I can run a Nomadic 12k BTU air conditioner off the Li's and keep them fully charged. The Victron lives inside the van.

There are a lot of choices online. We found an option where two single rolls can be zipped together as a double wide roll. Very versatile.

    Better sleeping pads and mats?

Another vote for EXPED. I adjust the firmness to exactly match my mattress at home. I literally do not experience any difference in sleep, even on the first night of trip.

They're actually quite brite. Sometimes I don't even bother using my flashlight if I'm walking both dogs with their lights.

Diesel Heater Ducting? What to use?

Looking back at my photos and narrative, I just realized how incomplete the description is… my mind was filling in the blanks. The angle flange passes through (from interior to exterior direction) a layer of “coin” flooring, 3/4" plywood, then the E250 floorboard. The flange is secured with...

    National Luna Legacy Fridge smell

All the above plus let it sit outside with lid wide open and let the sunshine in. UV works wonders on a lot of odor creating microbes. Let it thoroughly dry before propping the lid slightly open for storage.

Deep blue or deep red LED is much softer and less intrusive if you really need lights.

    UJOR Build Thread

What are you going to use it for and how much work will be commissioned to Chris? We live Kali and worry about the eco cult war against diesel, therefore lean towards option 2. Chris did a full build on our 2010 5.4 E250 RB. It exceeds all of our expectations. Fuel mileage is only soft spot...
