    Hey, thanks man! Good questions. 1) Right now, the bed lifts via gas struts. We were able to store a lot down there: 3x27 gal storage bins, camp furniture, bouldering crash pad plus 75gal water tank and power systems, with space to spare. If you really wanted, a (large) hatch could be installed...
