Before I put propane in the tank and turn it on, am I missing anything? Should I put plumbers tape on the brass threads where it screws into the kovea adapter? Is there any other tidbits to keep in mind when doing it this way, either safety, wear and tear or something? Thanks!

Im assuming the above set up would work with the teppanyaki burner as well? The kovea adapter + Ignik 5lb tank? Off grid living, don't need mobile set up, but rather not have the metal canisters waste if i can reuse something else. Thanks...
