Yes, indeedy. I went with Wildcat headers from BestMufflers.com. They're made by Genie, so I tried to go through Genie directly. With shipping, they would have been about $200 cheaper, but there was a lot of run around trying to communicate with Genie, by the time someone who could help...

Yeah, that's essentially my issue too. I can probably take the time off, just wouldn't get paid. So I have to factor lost income into the trip cost. Maybe there would be different members who could join for various stretches of the trip? I'll be coming from Texas, so going through Colorado...

How do PolyTuff bushings compare to OEM?

Thought I'd throw this out there... I intend to drive through Alaska to Deadhorse, hopefully get access to Prudhoe Bay, then drop back down through Chicken and Dawson City, Canada, then up to Tuk. Want to make this happen toward the end of summer this year. Would anyone else be up for it?

Got an estimate back from Jet-hot about coating my headers and exhaust. Roughly $938. How would ceramic coated exhaust pipes be affected by cold water crossings?

I found some Diamante 30M heads for sale. About $3,000 USD including shipping from Japan. Getting ahead of myself, but I may get them while they're available to be had. Don't want to spend that much money for them, but a 6G75 MIVEC with DOHC heads would be an awesome engine to have in a Montero.

Yeah, I've looked at their products. Tried contacting them about their subframe drop. Unfortunately, they only use Facebook, and I go out of my way not to. Something I am working to embrace a bit more, but sometimes change is more of a process than an event. :(
