I have this type of vent on each side of my canopy and it minimises the dust in the back by virtue of positive air pressure.

I went for overkill on the dust proofing for my camper. An oversized air filter and 4wd snorkel feeding a boating bilge blower to pressurise the cabin. No dust intrusion at all. The blower was switched off the light circuit.

Didn't mention it before, but you've done an excellent job. We may even get let out soon to go camping.
