    Shift issues??

    Just wondering if anyone else has had any shift issues with their Tacoma. Recently it feels like my truck hesitates to shift into third gear a bit. RPMs run a little high before third is engaged?-----anyone have a solution or fix to this issue.---Maybe a tune-up?---Thanks.

    Just wanted to get a feel for what everyone thinks might break on different models of Tacomas. Expedition travel may require bringing extra replacement parts so as not to get stranded. As far as I know the one thing that might go on my 2001 DC 4x4 is the CV, anything else?-----------I know...

    Finally got it-----An 01 DC with 65K-------looked forever and finally tracked one down. Can't wait to start the mods. Did the Deckplate-----next is some new wheels and tires, a lift and then the suspension. Great site!-----Thanks for all the inspiration and info!

    D-cab owners opinion

    Ya, ---I looked for a few months before I found mine.-----many times one sold right out from under me, in a day!-----ended up getting an 01 4x4 for a little over 19k before tax and stuff.------65K-----not bad for the wait. Love the truck-----------did a deckplate mod now its got jump!
