Sand ladders can't be used for bridging and bridge ladders are extremely heavy. I would go with waffle mats which can be used for both traction, bridging, and are much lighter. Tera-Trax sells them for $195 + $29 shipping to the lower 48. Or if the price is right you can just buy the molded...
