Nice build Java! Seems like you are getting the most out of your truck. Did you ever have any vibration issues when you mounted the HID's to the factory bumper?

Front Bumpers
What are the options for a front bumper that doesn't entail replacing the factory bumper? This truck will not be wheeled hard, it will eventually get a small lift courtesy of 5100's and FJ coils. Just something to provide a little more clearance for larger tires. I am not...
How many owners on record? It wouldn't be for me. It all comes down to actually looking, and actually being in front of the truck for me. I looked at 3 trucks before settling on mine. If I remember correctly, you are no stranger to the Toyota trucks, take a look and see how it looks in...
Been following this along since you started. Nice work on the truck and seeing it through the way you wanted. Really cool to see a true budget build, with everything thought out and done for a reason. Glad you enjoyed the trip and the experience!

Haggis,
That sounds like a really good deal for tires. I am in no danger of needing rubber, but the 4Runner was bought for light offroading, and mainly exploration/camping in New England. If it works out, there could be a road trip back to Moab, so a good mannered, slightly agressive AT is...
Haggis-
How are you guys liking the 255/70 setup? I have Michelins M/S 2's on there now, I have zero complaints, but would like something more agressive the next time around.

Anything is possible! haha. I would really like to get/make something that would give me some flat space up there between the factory rails. I am not opposed to something removable that "clamps" to the existing tubes. I am still deeply intrigued by the somewhat famous ATV ramp racks.
Hoping...
I don't like your tone. And yes, you know that is what I am looking for. Only thing I would add is more surface area to be able to throw anything up there. The center section of the rack looks dang close to your roof. How much clearance you have there?

Update
Stardate April 8th, 2013.
Purchased factory all weather floor mats, all 4. Toyota's overly cautious with the drivers side, it is a solid 5" shorter than I remeber any factory mat being. I can only assume it has to do with the stuck accelorator "recall"
Purchased the $25 interior LED...
After having the truck for about a week now, I will say that I am still truly impressed by the quality of the Toyota's vs the Subuaru. Not to say that the Sub was a POS, but @ 35k, it was by no means as tight as what I would've expected. On to the things that matter! Mods- The intent of this...
I had those in my Taco, good mats and the fit was really good. I'll have to keep my eyes out for a set on sale, and possibly a cargo area mat. That carpet just gets in the way. So many ideas, so little money.
I have wanted to get a Scangauge for awhile now, seems like this is a good time to look into them. I was figuring it was a little high, but not that much. Oh well, I wasn't planning on it being that great either way. First on the list will be a set of proper mats, hate not having good heavy ones.
Martin, that was based on the dash/factory MPG. I was averaging about 70-72, and it was more or less flat. Used cruise for most of the way. I will calculate it out at the end of this tank for sure though. It does have moonroof. Along with the other mid-cycle ugrades, that was one of the...
