There is a mold release film on some foams that can be pealed off. I think formular has one. DuPont square edge did not.

You could also buy something like this to retrofit to your house fridge to hold the doors shut.

Just a comparison.
These two are the same size and almost the same design.

I am looking for *the mount*…. Not a cheap mount for my off-road truck. Would like something I never have to replace and it just works.
I will probably expand later to have a tablet and passenger phone at some point.
Looking at Ram Mounts, Bullet Point, and 67 Designs.
Anyone have an...
Test everything and your prep.
I found that some of the better adhesives reject the foam I used and my cleaning and sanding of the foam made it worse.

I saw his video and was going to do something similar. I did not find the exact motor he used on Amazon. Most were smaller or much more expensive. Have you selected a motor yet?

All,
I am building an elevator bed and trying to decide how much effort I want to put into it.
I can easily have it travel up and down parallel to the floor.
I am contemplating making it so I can level the bed, but adding flexible joints to the track system would make everything much more...
The burner has a higher turn off temperature than the turn on temperature, so the unit will have to raise the temp from one set point to the next. The more thermal mass in your system the longer it will run while one and the longer it will stay off. In the webasto I have, I don’t control any of...
——How are you figuring your flow rate and what are you using for temp control?
I am not. The webasto has its own small pump to cycle glycol to the expansion tank, etc. the heating loop has a bigger pump. I have seen Sean Filner (YouTube) do something like what I am doing, so I am not that...
To answer your questions.
The question is how much benefit would a radiant heat floor provide in an RV for a cold climate application?
It would be silent. No fan (unless temperature kicks off a second stage blower). It would feel better.
Would water on the floor dry quickly?
Probably...
Great timing….. I am about to start my hydronic floor project. My floor is approximately 17’x8’
I have 2.5” of xps foam that I plan to run a hand router over to cut grooves for my tubing every 8” . I plan to make a template to turn the corners.
I plan to run the tubes under everything...
Well,
I know I am revising an old thread, but It looks like C-head is out of business.
I have not yet built my toilet as I had a bunch of delays. Now started considering just buying one and C-head…. My top choice, is no more.

Update,
I ordered my 125 gallon fresh and 40 gallon grey tank (don’t have a black).
Right now the plan is to put in an access port for the fresh tank in the center, then put in surge busters. This tank has pre welded bungs on the corners. Unfortunately there is one 1/2” bung open in a lower...
I thought about that. Sort of how bio-balls are used in aquariums.
I guess the concern is that if you have a large tank, surge is an issue. If you have an access port, surge can blow them out some times. You need an access port to install surge busters. But, if you have an access port, you can...
